No. FlierLink is not a booking app. It works alongside your existing travel plans — you just add your trip and start discovering others on similar journeys.
Yes – You are in control at all times. FlierLink was designed with community and safety in mind. You choose how much to share, and whether or not to connect with others. No personal contact information is ever made public, and all connections are optional.
Only other travelers using the app who are on the same flight or a similar route can view limited trip details — like your departure city, destination, and travel date. Your name, contact info, and personal details are never shared publicly.
It’s simple! Just enter your departure city, destination, and travel date — or select your flight if you’ve already booked it. That’s all it takes to start discovering others on the same route.
Yes! Once you’ve added a trip in FlierLink, you can choose to share it publicly — either your entire trip or just a specific part (like the onward or return leg). Only limited, non-personal details are shown (such as cities, dates, and flight number). This allows others to:
- Coordinate their travel to fly with you
- Get inspired by your itinerary
- Or connect if they’re on a similar route
You stay in full control of what’s visible and whether to connect.
FlierLink relies on flight schedule information from our partners. Some flights may not appear because their schedules haven’t been published yet, or because they are code share flights, which we don’t currently support. If your flight isn’t listed, you can still create a planned trip manually using your departure city, destination, and travel date. This helps you connect with others on the same route — even if you’re on different flights.
FlierLink is powered by the community, and it gets better every time someone adds a trip. Even if you don’t see matches right away, your trip helps others who come after you. The more it’s used, the more useful it becomes for everyone.
